Normal Was Never Enough

2nd annual Students and Educators' March

We know that normal wasn’t good enough for kids in the school district of Philadelphia. Last year educators, families, and students came together to push back on the unjust schooling system in our city. After a year of living through COVID, continued racial injustice, and growing gun violence in the city, we know schools haven’t been, and continue not to be, everything our students need to thrive. We want to march for a new, better, normal for our students.

Whether you can share information, attend, donate time or money, we hope you will get involved!

Young leaders from across Philadelphia were featured as adults listened and learned. View the recording here

We believe that our focus should be on helping the community during this difficult time and will refrain from discussing the right and wrong of the actions that has led us to mobilize for our people within this space.
